Crane Service
At United our service department comes fully equipped to undertake any service calls and emergency breakdown situations that may arise. United offers 24 Hour Emergency Service to all of our customers.Our service technicians are fully qualified and competent in both the mechanical millwrighting and electrical trades. United has full access to all manufacturer’s parts and product and are an authorized distributor for Columbus McKinnon but not limited to:

Our technicians are also trained and have been certified in the following areas: WHMIS, Aerial Work Platforms, Fall Arrest Training, and with the Canadian Welding Bureau under CSA Standard W47.1 Division 2 for fusion Welding of Steel Structures.Crews are dispatched via cell phones Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. After hour calls are dispatched through our 24 hour answering service for emergency breakdowns. Job scheduling takes place at our office by the Service Department staff. Crane Inspections Our Service Technicians are fully qualified and competent to perform inspections and repairs on all brands of cranes, hoists and all of their components in accordance with the Manufacturers’ specifications and Regulations 851, section 51. The service technicians at United Industrial Services Inc. will work with you to ensure your material handling equipment is up to date and in safe operating condition. Ongoing preventative maintenance programs are available whereby our technicians regularly inspect and repair your equipment on a time line set by manufacturers’ specifications, frequency of use and our recommendations. Open communications between our service department staff and our customers is key in ensuring our inspections and preventative maintenance programs are successful and meet every aspect of our customer's needs. |
